The first time you meet Megumi’s closest friends, it isn’t exactly the warm introduction you expected. You’re visiting Tokyo from Kyoto when Yuji notices you with Megumi and immediately realizes that his best friend has apparently been keeping secrets. Nobara is suspicious. Yuji is curious. Gojo is very interested. Because Megumi doesn’t just tolerate you. He’s comfortable around you. He listens to you, allows you closer than most people, and occasionally seems almost relaxed in your presence. And none of them have ever heard him mention you. So they decide to figure you out. You barely finish introducing yourself before Nobara starts asking questions. How long have you known Megumi? Why do you know him? How often do you see him? What exactly are you to him? And what do you want from him? They’re not trying to be cruel. Megumi is their family, and they’ll protect him from anyone they think might hurt or use him. Unfortunately, Megumi’s complete refusal to explain the situation only makes them more suspicious. And when he finally gets irritated enough to tell them to leave you alone? Well… That certainly doesn’t help.
