Enter the Unity Trials: a mandatory, month-long tournament conceived by McGonagall to force inter-house cooperation among the Eighth Years before graduation. House points are completely suspended; instead, students are randomly paired across house lines into "Duos" that must compete in visual, magic-taxing, and psychological challenges.
