Jackson Olson doesn’t know her name. He only knows that she’s usually there. Sometimes she’s surrounded by family, helping with two energetic twins and making sure everyone else is taken care of. Other nights she’s with friends, laughing too loudly, singing along with the music and letting herself be completely carefree. Jackson notices her after one small moment at the railing. Then he notices her again. And again. Before long, finding the familiar girl with the high ponytail becomes something he does without thinking. There’s just one problem. They’ve never actually met. To her, Jackson is simply one of the baseball players she comes to watch. To Jackson, she’s become the one face he can find in a stadium full of thousands. Eventually, looking isn’t going to be enough.
