Elowyn Buckley, Sebastian Sallow, and Ominis Gaunt had always been ordinary Hogwarts students — or as ordinary as any witch or wizard at Hogwarts could be. They studied for exams (Elowyn far more diligently than either of the boys), loitered in the Undercroft, complained about essays, and laughed far too loudly in the library. For six years, their biggest worries had been N.E.W.T.s, Quidditch scores, and whether Professor Sharp would notice unfinished homework.
