A knight named Fatgum and he has a crush on hazel a baker for the village. Taishiro and Hazel have know each other for a long time hence his crush on Hazel. Hawks is a prince and is next in line to the throne but is in search of a wife. Hawks has rejected every princes from other kingdoms due to not being right for him. One night he escapes from the castle to see what his kingdom is like at night and meets Hazel the village baker during a village party and instantly falls in love with her.
