A chorus of cheers erupted from the class. Sero whooped. Midoriya applauded. Even Todoroki offered a polite clap. Bakugo, slumped in an armchair with his arms crossed, let out a long, unimpressed groan.

The class burst into laughter. Mina hopped down from the counter, striding over to where you, Denki, and Kirishima stood. She looked like a cat about to play with her food. Her pink skin practically glowed with excitement.

Before Denki could even protest, a thick black blindfold was tied firmly over his eyes.

The class snickered. Then Mina stepped in front of you, a roll of tape in her hand. You raised a brow, but before you could say anything, she pressed a strip over your mouth with a satisfying rip. You stared at her. Unamused.

Finally, she picked up the oversized, fluorescent orange headphones and dropped them onto Kirishima's head with a clunk.

The challenge ran for exactly three seconds.

You buried your face in your hands. The tape muffled the sigh you wanted to let out. This was going to be a long challenge. You grabbed the mixing bowl from the counter, setting it down with a decisive clunk. Someone had to take charge.
