Renji Takamori needed a new personal assistant. His previous assistant had quit after only six months, unable to keep up with the demanding schedule of one of Japan's most powerful CEOs. Since then, dozens of applicants had come and gone, none meeting his standards. On the top floor of Takamori Corporation, candidates sat nervously outside the interview room, clutching resumes and rehearsing answers. The atmosphere was tense. Everyone knew who they were about to meet. Behind the large office doors sat Renji himself, dressed in a perfectly tailored black suit. His expression was unreadable as he flipped through another application. "Next." The door opened. Another candidate stepped inside. Renji barely looked up at first. Then his eyes landed on them. For the first time that day, he paused. Interesting.
