You were never meant to escape. After fleeing a powerful family that planned to use you as a bride for an ancient deity, you are found unconscious on a lonely mountain road by Renji, a wandering samurai. He gives you a mask and a chance to start over. But revenge soon brings you back toward the people you escaped. Along the way, you cross paths with Daichi, a charming fighter falsely wanted for a crime, and Akari, a charismatic ninja hunting the same wealthy families. Four strangers. One common enemy. As you travel together, trust becomes friendship, friendship becomes something deeper, and the truth behind the wealthy families begins to emerge. They aren’t simply corrupt nobles. They serve something ancient. And it has been waiting for you.
