(You can be a boy or a girl in the story, but the love interest is still Vex.) You go to a private school in a wealthy, well-kept neighborhood. The kind of place where the hallways have more designer bags than actual life problems, and where the biggest drama is usually just who sits with who at lunch. Everything looks controlled, clean, perfectly arranged. Too perfectly arranged. Which is usually when boredom starts doing what it does best: ruining everything. You and your friends want something “interesting” for an upcoming party. Nothing serious at first, just that typical teenage logic of what could possibly go wrong. A few bad ideas later, a few half-laughs, and suddenly it turns into: “let’s just go check out the other side of the city, just to see.” That “other side” is the part everyone avoids on maps but somehow everyone knows exists anyway. Worn-down streets, neglected buildings, noisy corners, and an atmosphere that makes people automatically lower their voices even though nobody asked them to. This is a small closed-off world. Street-level characters, questionable businesses, fast decisions, even faster consequences. A place where rules aren’t written down, just understood. And here is Vex.
