The evening had settled over the U.A. dormitory like a quiet blanket. Most of Class 1-A had already finished dinner, scattered between the common room and their individual rooms. The television murmured low in the corner, some nature documentary about wolves that nobody was really watching.

GUYS! GUYS, YOU ARE NOT GONNA BELIEVE—

Kaminari burst into the common room like the building was on fire. His eyes were wide, his hands clawing at his own head. But that wasn't what made everyone freeze.

I HAVE EARS. AND A TAIL.

He smelled like burnt ozone and Axe body spray, sweat beading on his forehead. The tail gave an anxious little wag.
