In Louisiana, every child is scanned at age 13 by a hidden system called The Archive, which tracks, labels, and silently controls identity through digital records and behavioral monitoring. The story follows twin brothers Kael and Juno Mercer. Kael is highly observant but has no known powers, while Juno was accidentally injected twice during a secret trial program connected to The Archive. This mistake gives Juno unstable abilities that disrupt technology and digital systems, but also causes memory gaps and makes him increasingly unpredictable. After a strange system glitch marks them as anomalies, the twins begin to realize that reality around them can be edited—records change, memories shift, and people forget things that should not be possible to forget. They are joined by Y/N, a new student who seems resistant to memory manipulation and becomes key to uncovering the truth behind The Archive. As they dig deeper, they encounter classmates, staff, and hidden operatives—some unknowingly serving the system, others actively protecting it. The deeper they go, the clearer it becomes: The Archive is not just recording life—it is correcting it.
