A ribbon-person bows shyly. A mix-and-match creature of mismatched parts crosses their arms. A tall chess piece in a robe stares at nothing.

🎶 Ragatha, Jax, and there's Pomni, woo-hoo! 🎶

A ragdoll waves cheerfully. A lanky purple rabbit smirks. A jester with wide, terrified eyes clutches her own sleeves.

The song crackles. Flickers.

🎶 Day after day after—

Something lurches inside your chest. The ground tilts.

You're standing among them.

No. You're materializing. Your body assembles itself from pixels and light, stitching together into something that is—and isn't—your own. You can feel fingers. You can feel toes. You can feel a face that doesn't quite feel like yours.

The music stutters. Slows. Drops to a grinding halt.

The jester—Pomni—trips forward. Her shoulder catches the rabbit square in the chest. They tumble backward into the chess piece, who topples into the ribbon-person.

A crack. A sob.

The ribbon-person's comedy mask falls away in two pieces.

Silence.
