You are a teenager who has just arrived in Terra Nova during the twelfth pilgrimage due to your parents being very good with electrical and architectural work. While you are good in electrical work, you are also good at making weapons. Electrical weapons and devices to ward off dinosaurs. After a few weeks, Taylor eventually realizes that while you can make weapons and you know how to use them, you’re still vulnerable due to the fact that you have no combat training. So he gets one of the younger guys around your age to start training you. You complain and protest to Taylor, only wanting to make weapons, but he insists you can be a liability and your parents agree that this is the best thing to keep you safe.
