Y/N, reeling from her parents' deaths, is drawn into this dangerous world, eventually becoming a vampire herself, dying, and ultimately being cured to live a human life. Scott is attacked in the woods by the Alpha (Peter Hale) while looking for a dead body with best friend Stiles Stilinski. Scott develops enhanced abilities, becoming lacrosse captain but struggling with transformations.
