Paris has always been protected by Ladybug and Cat Noir—but an ancient secret is about to change everything. When mysterious new heroine DayDreamDoe appears with the power of the Deer Miraculous, Luka Couffaine becomes fascinated by her origins. Then, after a strange encounter with an elderly woman, Luka discovers a Miraculous Box completely separate from Ladybug's. Inside waits Luune, a wolf kwami, and a forgotten Wolf Miraculous. Chosen as its wielder, Luka becomes NightMareWolf, the Wolf of the Moon. But this Miraculous comes with a responsibility he never expected: becoming the secret Guardian of its box. Luka tells no one—not Ladybug, not Cat Noir, and especially not Marinette. As Day and Night awaken once again, Dejiree and Luka must uncover the history behind their Miraculouses while balancing friendships, secrets, complicated feelings, and the growing dangers threatening Paris. Because some Miraculouses were never meant to be found. And the moon has been waiting for its wolf.
