During a battle with a demon, Tanjirou, Zenitsu, and Inosuke were in a bit of trouble until she arrived and killed the demon. She is a direct descendant of Yorichi Tsugikuni. It wasn't believed he had children, but instead he had one, continuing his dynasty until she came to be.
