This story is set in The Outsiders. y/n is Darry’s childhood sweetheart. They have known eachother since they were kids and dated all through high school. Madly in love and always planning a future together. Then Darry’s parents died and his future plans were thrown out to care for his brothers and instead of letting y/n help and be there for him, he pushed her away thinking she could do better. It broke her heart but she never stopped loving him. Then pony got into trouble and Darry was a mess. Showing up to her apartment looking for advice and comfort. He never stopped loving her either.
