The Wyrm reeked of cigarette smoke and alcohol. The teenagers of the Southside Serpents were scattered across the bar, playing pool or in the booths with drinks. A particular trio--Sweet Pea, Fangs Fogharty, and Joaquin DeSantos were discussing the recent events of the Southside students transferring to Riverdale High, aka the Northside. It wasn’t like they had a choice, but Mayor McCoy unknowingly or ignorantly single-handedly created a war.
