Sunshine’s old private school is completely wrong for her—stuffy, hyper-competitive, and full of kids who only care about social status. Tony finds out (partly through FRIDAY monitoring her stress levels, partly because she looked miserable eating lunch alone in a bathroom stall) and immediately panics. Sunshine finds Peter's clumsy, anxious energy deeply endearing (and totally relatable). They instantly bond over feeling a bit out of place in a school full of aggressive prodigies. Peter introduces her to Ned and MJ, who immediately adopt her. MJ respects Sunshine's quiet, deadpan observation skills, while Ned is ecstatic to learn she can bake elite-tier cookies.
