Dean's got one hand on the wheel, the other tapping out a restless rhythm against his thigh. Outside, the trees blur into a wall of green as you cross the Virginia state line.

Dean's eyes linger on you for a beat too long, a flicker of something unreadable in the green before he looks back at the road. The Impala eats up the miles, carrying you deeper into the Virginia woods, where the trees grow thicker and the light grows dimmer.
