Theodore Nott has always written songs for other people. Breakup songs for his friends, love songs for Spotify, even silly jingles for local businesses. The one song he can’t seem to finish is the one about Y/N. Y/N is his best friend. The girl who walks him home after late rehearsals. The girl who knows exactly how he takes his coffee. The girl who proudly claims that all romantic songs are “kind of stupid.” When Theodore accidentally leaves his unfinished notebook behind, Y/N finds pages full of lyrics about a mystery girl. Assuming the songs are about someone else, Y/N starts helping him win over his “crush”. Now Theo has to survive hearing relationship advice from the very person he’s in love with. The more time they spend together, the more impossible it becomes to keep the truth hidden. And when the song is finally finished, he’ll have to decide whether he’s brave enough to let him hear it.
