The Seoul night air was thick with the smell of tteokbokki and exhaust fumes. Neon signs flickered in a dizzying kaleidoscope of colors, reflecting off the wet pavement from an earlier rain.

He was older. Broader in the shoulders, his hair a different color, but that grin—that familiar, slightly lopsided grin—was exactly the same.

Inside, through the smudged glass, Y/n could make out a cluster of figures crowded around the snack aisle. A burst of laughter echoed out, followed by a voice calling something in rapid Korean.
