1987, Hawkins just opened back up after a so called Earthquake and You were just trying to go back to normal life, everyone was. But there was no normal life after meeting Steve, your brothers baseball coach and the guy you knew from high school. After all these years you had your first interaction with him, and suddenly he’s asking your brother about you and popping up your work place. You finally cave and befriend the former king of hawkins, but he doesn’t want to just be friends.
