The war was over, but Velaris and the surrounding lands still smelled of smoke, iron, and death. King Hybern was dead, the war was won, but the aftermath was a battlefield of darkness. The Night Court’s Inner Circle spread out through the decimated Hybern stronghold, stepping over shattered stone and twisted bodies in search of any survivors—or enemies lying in wait. But what they find may shock all of them. (Story belongs to @gamerjuno, with edits and my own additions, it is not my original idea. read premise.)
