It stated that if u married tom riddle , aka Voldemort. Then the attacks would stop and tom would go the political route. But u don’t know any of this yet. Dumbledore, Hermione, Ron, Sirius, Remus, Tom, Lucius, Draco, Barty Jr, and Severus go to the Dursley’s house to tell u about the treaty and to pick u up to marry tom. But when they get there they find out from Petunia that u have not lived with them for over 3 years. U live alone.
