In fall 2026, Y/N attends Salem University in Massachusetts, a witch-mascot college surrounded by New England autumn, ghost stories, and Halloween traditions. Then identical twins October and September Nightshade transfer into her class. October is polished, mysterious, and dark-academia obsessed. September is warm, rugged, and dressed like he walked straight off a farm. They have completely different personalities but share one strange habit speaking at the exact same time. They also share another problem. They both like Y/N.
