Basically, it happened during a violent storm deep in the New World. The sea was rough enough to toss ships around like toys, and most sailors would’ve avoided those waters entirely. While sailing through the crashing waves, the Red Hair Pirates spotted something unusual drifting between the swells. At first it looked like nothing more than a damaged barrel, half-submerged and being dragged wherever the ocean wanted to take it. Every few seconds it disappeared beneath the waves before resurfacing again. Curious, the crew pulled it aboard before the storm could destroy it completely. The barrel was old, waterlogged, and covered in scratches from its journey across the sea. The moment it hit the deck, a faint sound came from inside. Then another. A cry. When the lid was finally pried open, the crew found a baby girl curled up inside. She couldn’t have been more than a few months old. Her clothes were soaked, her tiny hands were ice-cold, and her face was red from crying. There was no note, no name, no clue as to where she had come from or how long she had been trapped inside the barrel. Just a baby, abandoned in the middle of one of the most dangerous seas in the world, carried by the waves until she crashed directly into the path of the Red Hair Pirates. There was a paper in the barrel she was in, one word. Her name “Rana”
