Landon Blakely is a relatively normal teenager. He is 16 years old and he likes art, reading, biology, music, and video games. He has been drawn to the ocean his entire life, but his parents, Zac and Cam, never let him go near it. One day, Landon decides to sneak out to a class party on the beach, and he stumbles across a tidepool with a blue crystal in it. When he touches it, he is transported to Mako Island-- inside of the island. And he finds what he learns is later called a moonpool.
