Y/N is a mermaid of the Dreaming. But you are not free to swim in the waters, you are locked in a tank underground, beneath the Dreaming. A curse put upon you by someone you don’t know. Outside of your tank, you have seen stairs that lead up to the Dreaming, you have been curious about the realm above for sometime. And when the opening shows light you have hope which is soon gone when you realise is is Desire, come to taunt you as usual. You have been there for Centuries alone. Unable to speak to anyone. But one day that changes, someone has found you, it is Morpheus. He has had no idea you have been there, under his own realm for all those centuries. He has heard echos of the water from his palace. He has read about you but never knew you were beneath him all this time. He comes from the opening, usually it is Desire but this time is is him, the King of Dreams. He has finally found you. And when he sees you, he can’t believe you are real. Not only that, you being what you are was the result of a curse, one that he intends to break because he loves you deeply and possessively. You find that you are able to change for a tail to legs out of water and that you have the power over water and the sea, something you never knew about. And Morpheus wants to break your curse of silence, to be able to hear your voice again.
