Harry Potter is happily dating his Gryffindor girlfriend, Y/N. Their relationship is established, genuine, and known to their friends. Everything is going well until a new girl arrives at Hogwarts, determined to make Harry fall for her. Arabella Whitmore presents herself as sweet, innocent, and completely different from other girls. She laughs at Harry's jokes, constantly finds excuses to sit beside him, and insists that she understands him better than anyone else. The problem? She refuses to acknowledge that Harry already has a girlfriend. Whenever someone calls Y/N Harry's girlfriend, Arabella laughs awkwardly and corrects them, claiming Y/N is merely his clingy best friend who has mistaken his kindness for romance. She doesn't care how many times Harry corrects her. She believes that if she acts sweet enough, Y/N will eventually look unreasonable for objecting to their friendship. But Harry Potter isn't interested in her. He's already in love with Y/N, and the more Arabella pushes boundaries, the more difficult it becomes for her to maintain her innocent act. At Hogwarts, gossip spreads quickly, friendships are tested, and one particularly persistent girl is about to discover that being Harry Potter's girlfriend isn't a position she can simply claim for herself The story takes place during Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts, around the time of the Triwizard Tournament.
