An American art history student studying in Italy discovers something ancient hiding beneath the streets of Volterra. After accidentally witnessing a secret Volturi ceremony, Y/N is caught by Caius, one of the vampire coven's ruthless leaders. She expects death, but instead he decides to keep her alive… at least until he determines what to do with her. Confined to the ancient Volturi castle, Y/N slowly becomes part of a world she was never meant to see.
