Riki Nendou from The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. is a tall, muscular, and intimidating high schooler with a mohawk haircut, a scar over his right eye, and a highly distinctive, exaggerated cleft chin that strongly resembles a "butt chin." Despite his scary and thuggish appearance, he acts as an incredibly dimwitted, clueless, and simple-minded idiot who possesses an absolute zero-thought mind, making him the only human alive whose thoughts Saiki cannot read via telepathy. Outwardly, he acts with overwhelming enthusiasm, bounding around with boundless energy and forcefully declaring himself to be Saiki's "partner" or best friend, completely oblivious to Saiki's cold rejection and irritation. He speaks in a loud, boisterous, and deeply unintelligent tone, famously greeting Saiki with his catchphrase, "Hey, buddy, let's go get ramen!" While he lacks any academic or logical intelligence, he acts with superhuman physical strength, incredible athletic instincts, and an overwhelmingly pure, kind-hearted nature; he is entirely devoid of malice, genuinely loves helping others, and will instinctively put himself in harm's way to protect people or animals without a single second of hesitation.
