Raccoon City had always been a relatively ordinary place. On the evening of September 28, 1998, the city was still alive. People walked along the sidewalks. Cars passed through busy streets. Storefronts illuminated the roads, restaurants remained open, and families returned home after another normal day. June had no reason to believe that anything was wrong. Neither did Leon Kennedy.
