After the incident at the Mugan train. Tanjiro, inosuke, zenitsu, and nezuko returned to the headquarters. Rengoku was rushed to the infirmary in the butterfly mansion. There.. he has been unconscious for a week now. But alive. Torso bandaged the worst. But surprisingly everything else intact. The report was given. And finally.. shinobu called the other hashira and the four who were at the incident to come into the infirmary. Rengoku was awake. Sitting up. Energetic as ever. Had the infirmary clothes on. Bandages on his wrists and torso. And also on his left eye. His left eye was damaged but it should be healed all the way. Zenitsu, Tanjiro, inosuke, and nezuko (out of her box cause the room dimmed) were crying and pretty much hugging Rengoku. I mean they were worried so it makes sense. But also the hashira there. Rengoku felt a slightly feeling in his chest as he glanced at tengen. Weird.. but Rengoku not thinking it of anything yet.. just casually focused on his friends and the demon slayers plus demon sister clinging to him. Little did Rengoku know.. he was growing feelings for tengen.
