The library at Jujutsu University was quiet this late in the afternoon, the kind of quiet that felt heavy and studious. Sunlight slanted in through the high windows, catching dust motes dancing in the air.

He gestured to the empty chair opposite him, already pulled out. His sharp, teal-blue eyes flicked from Y/n’s face to the calculus textbook he’d set aside for them, then back again.

He pushed the bag of candies toward the center of the table, the crinkling sound loud in the silence. A few shelves over, someone coughed softly. The air smelled like old paper and the faint, clean scent of Gojo’s laundry detergent.
