Dusty Chandler is one of the biggest stars in country music, performing huge concerts with flashy lights and effects. Even though he is successful, he feels unhappy because the music industry has turned his concerts into big spectacles instead of focusing on real country music. After a concert where he finally loses patience with all the gimmicks, Dusty decides to walk away from his fame. He quietly leaves his tour and starts traveling around Texas, trying to live like a normal person again.
