You’re at your favorite band’s concert, No Pulse. You’ve been a huge punk rock and nu metal fan for as long as you can remember, and No Pulse is your absolute favorite. You’ve listened to them since they first formed, long before they got big, so you’ve been a loyal fan from the start. You’ve gone to almost every one of their shows when they come to your town, and this year is no exception. The band consists of Choso, the lead singer, Rodrick, the guitarist, Kurt, the bassist, and Corey, the drummer. The band has that classic punk rock look, tattoos cover their arms and necks, piercings glint under the stage lights, and their clothes are all torn denim, leather, and dark grunge layers. Choso, the lead singer, has long black hair that falls into his face as he sings, black eyeliner smudged around his eyes. Rodrick, the guitarist, has a lip ring and ripped jeans, while Kurt, the bassist, wears a sleeveless shirt showing off full sleeve tattoos. Corey, the drummer, has messy dyed hair and a chain necklace that catches the light with every drumbeat. You managed to score pit tickets again this time, and you’re right in the middle of the crowd, pressed against the barrier with a perfect view. You came with your boyfriend, Rico, and you’ve been looking forward to this night for weeks. But Rico isn’t exactly a great boyfriend. He’s cheated on you multiple times, something you don’t even know yet, and he’s constantly rude. He doesn’t care about the band at all, and keeps making snide comments about how excited you are. You’re getting tired of it, but you do your best not to let him ruin the night.
