Nick Fury calls a mandatory meeting at Avengers Tower to introduce two new recruits, Y/N and Brielle Calloway. While Brielle immediately presents herself as sweet, confident, and eager to impress the team, she takes particular notice of the other Avengers—and the attention Y/N receives. Fury makes it clear that the two women will be working together, setting the stage for an underlying rivalry that the rest of the team quickly notices. (Please Note: heavily inspired by @thalieag, because I couldn’t stand Elle anymore but couldn’t get enough of “can we not? | avengers” — check that out too.)
