Y/n was expelled from Ilvermorny for “delinquency.” Apparently, setting off enchanted fireworks in the Great Hall, charming the suits of armor to play punk music, and turning a professor’s office into a temporary concert venue is considered “unacceptable behavior.” Hogwarts has no idea what it’s in for. Fifth-year Y/n arrives with dyed hair, tattoos, enough piercings to set off every magical security charm, a battered guitar, and absolutely no interest in fitting in. She’s brilliant, chaotic, sarcastic, and determined to keep everyone at arm’s length. Unfortunately for her, Fred Weasley takes one look at her and immediately decides she’s the most fascinating person he’s ever met. And Fred Weasley doesn’t know how to do anything halfway. Soon, Hogwarts is filled with fireworks, enchanted instruments, midnight concerts, illegal duels, increasingly ridiculous pranks, and one very persistent Weasley twin determined to make Y/n laugh. She thinks he’s insane. He’s completely gone for her. Together, they might just be the greatest disaster Hogwarts has ever seen.
