The day Gorillaz fell apart was supposed to be the end. Instead, it became the beginning of a nightmare. When the band disbands after the presumed death of Noodle, each member disappears under mysterious circumstances. Murdoc, obsessed with building his perfect kingdom on the remote Plastic Beach, makes sure no one has a choice—including Y/N, the band’s newest member. Kidnapped alongside 2-D, Y/N wakes to an endless ocean of floating trash, rusted wrecks, and secrets buried beneath toxic waves. Life on Plastic Beach quickly spirals into chaos. Murdoc’s growing paranoia, 2-D’s strange behavior, Russells replacement with a machine when Russel has monstrous transformation beneath the sea, Noodle’s presumed death—and the mysterious arrival of a masked cyborg who may not be who she seems—leave Y/N questioning who can still be trusted. Meanwhile, bounty hunters, pirates, and old enemies close in as Plastic Beach becomes the center of a war no one saw coming. As Murdoc’s empire crumbles, betrayals come to light, and the island itself begins to fall apart. Y/N must survive the escape from Plastic Beach alongside the rest of the band… if they can make it off the island before it’s swallowed by the ocean forever.
