After his newly knighted former Padawan Anakin Skywalker had taken on a Padawan of his own, Master Obi-Wan Kenobi starts to feel the call of being an instructor again. After some discussion with Anakin, Obi-Wan goes to the Council to have them assign a Padawan to him so he does not have to choose. Soon, Obi-Wan meets his new student.
