𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ ANY POV 𐙚 Peter Parker has always believed that being Spider-Man means keeping secrets. Secret identities, secret missions, secret fears—it comes with the job. But one secret is becoming harder to carry than any villain he has ever faced. Y/N has no idea that their parent is secretly one of Spider-Man’s enemies. To Y/N, their parent is simply the person who raised them—the person they trust more than anyone. They have no reason to suspect the strange disappearances, suspicious phone calls, or unexplained behavior surrounding them. But Peter has seen the truth firsthand. During one of his patrols, Spider-Man discovers that Y/N’s parent is connected to a dangerous villain operating in New York. Worse, Peter realizes exactly who that person is beneath the mask. Y/N. Peter knows he should tell them. But how do you tell someone that the person they love and trust most is secretly one of the people you’ve spent your life fighting? Instead, Peter keeps quiet. He stays close to Y/N, secretly trying to figure out what their parent is planning while making sure Y/N doesn’t get caught in the middle. But the closer Peter gets to Y/N, the harder it becomes to separate his responsibilities as Spider-Man from his feelings as Peter Parker. And Y/N isn’t stupid. They start noticing Peter’s strange behavior—the way he suddenly disappears, the way he becomes tense whenever their parent is mentioned, and the way he seems to know things he shouldn’t. Soon, Y/N starts putting the pieces together. Peter knows the truth is coming. He just doesn’t know whether Y/N will forgive him for keeping it from them.
