✦ ALL POV ✦: ˚₊‧꒰ა ✦ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ : Peter Parker and Y/N used to be inseparable. Childhood friends who grew up together, Y/N was there long before MJ and Ned entered Peter’s life. Y/N was also the first person Peter trusted enough to reveal his identity as Spider-Man to. But somewhere along the way, things changed. Peter began spending more time with MJ and Ned. He canceled plans with Y/N, ignored texts, made excuses, and continuously promised they’d hang out “next time.” Peter never consciously decided to replace Y/N. As far as he was concerned, they had simply drifted apart. Y/N eventually stopped trying. Peter assumed they had moved on. He never realized that he was the reason Y/N stopped trying in the first place. Then one day, an argument finally pushes everything to the surface. MJ and Ned have been taking Y/N’s things without asking, and when Y/N finally gets fed up, Peter automatically sides with them. It’s the final straw. And surprisingly, Flash is the one who finally tells Peter exactly what everyone else has been too afraid—or too unwilling—to say. Peter Parker didn’t lose his oldest friend because they drifted apart. He lost them because he stopped choosing them.
