*Oshi no Ko* follows Dr. Gorou Amamiya, a countryside gynecologist, and his terminally ill patient, Sarina Tendouji, who share a deep obsession with the 17-year-old rising pop idol Ai Hoshino. Fate takes a strange turn when Ai secretly checks into Gorou's clinic, pregnant with twins. On the night she goes into labor, Gorou is murdered by an obsessive stalker—only to wake up reincarnated as Ai’s newborn baby boy, Aquamarine ("Aqua"). Unbeknownst to him, his twin sister, Ruby, is the reincarnation of Sarina.
