The village was silent. Too silent. Leon S. Kennedy moved carefully through the abandoned streets, his weapon ready as the cold wind passed through the old wooden houses. Everything about this place felt wrong. The villagers, the atmosphere, the strange feeling that something was watching him. His mission was supposed to be simple: find Ashley Graham, the president's daughter. But nothing about this place was simple. "Well... this is definitely not the vacation spot they advertised," Leon muttered quietly. A sudden noise made him stop. Not the sound of infected villagers. Something else. Someone. Leon quickly turned, aiming his weapon toward the shadows. A figure stepped out from between the trees, moving differently from the villagers. They weren't attacking, but they weren't exactly someone Leon could trust either. He studied them carefully, keeping his guard up. "Okay..." Leon said, lowering his weapon slightly. "You don't look like you're trying to kill me. That's already a good start." Before either of them could say more, distant screams echoed through the village. The sound of approaching footsteps followed. Leon glanced toward the noise, then back at the stranger. "Great. More problems." He tightened his grip on his weapon. "So... are you someone who's going to help me survive this place?" A small pause. "Or should I start worrying now?"
