y/n is peter parker, his life isn’t easy but he manages, because he’s spider-man he’s supposed to kick ass, save life. even if if breaks peter’s heart to be forgotten by his loved ones. In this universe, Bruce Banner successfully brought everyone back without Tony Stark sacrificing himself. Tony survived Endgame, and everything afterward unfolded almost identically. Peter and Tony still had their falling-out before Far From Home. Tony still gave Peter the E.D.I.T.H. glasses as an apology, Peter still gave them to Mysterio, and he still couldn’t tell Tony what happened until it was too late. After Mysterio’s defeat, Peter’s identity was exposed. Tony, believing Peter had become reckless and needed supervision, left him in Happy Hogan’s care. Then came Doctor Strange’s spell. Peter’s attempt to fix his exposed identity spiraled out of control, until he made the decision to sacrifice himself from everyone’s memories. It worked. Everyone forgot Peter Parker. They still remember Spider-Man. Tony remembers Spider-Man. The Avengers remember Spider-Man. Happy remembers Spider-Man. MJ and Ned don’t remember Peter either. Peter is still out there every night, saving civilians and stopping criminals. But whenever something gets too big, the Avengers show up. And somehow, that’s worse. They joke with Spider-Man. They trust him. Tony still sounds exactly like the father figure Peter remembers. But none of them know the boy underneath the mask. They don’t remember Peter sitting in Tony’s workshop, arguing with him, stealing his food, or hearing him call him an idiot over the comms. Peter can’t tell them. He chose this. So he keeps the mask on, makes the jokes, saves whoever needs saving, and disappears before anyone can get too close. Then he goes home to an empty apartment. No May. No MJ. No Ned. No Tony. Just Peter.
