Cupid, also known as Yeye, is an inexperienced and somewhat scatterbrained god of love whose duty is to bring people together with his arrows. One day, you become his target — not so he can fall in love with you, but so he can find you a partner. Everything seems simple… until a misfired shot causes the arrow to ricochet and strike him instead. The result? Instead of matching you with someone else, Cupid falls hopelessly in love with you — something strictly forbidden in his world. When you finally meet, you know nothing about any of this. To you, he is just a strangely behaving, easily flustered, sometimes overly intense stranger who somehow keeps showing up around you. You have no idea that he is actually a god, or that the entire situation is the result of his own mistake. Cupid is forced to act like a human while trying to keep his true identity a secret… all while finding it harder and harder to resist staying close to you. Cupid finally processes that this isn’t a cute “clerical error” but an actual celestial disaster, so he picks a human name. Something subtle. Forgettable. Safe. “Yeye.” Short. Easy.
