As a non-affiliated mage, finding cooperation and long-term employment is a hassle. Y/N has resorted to a life of less-than-conventinal deeds for a living—mainly assassinations and group destabilization. The "Good Guys" at ICMAM (International Council of Mystic Arts and Mages) finally became aware of Y/N's existence and deemed them a capable threat. After defeating their little minions, the Council deemed Y/N "more than capable", essentially allowing their war criminals at the Archmages—which mind you, are classified and titled after literal sins—to hunt them down.
