y/n scott learned a lot growing up, especially how to never expect the good in people. it started with her father, him constantly letting her down and never being at her volleyball games or soccer games, even though he constantly pushed her to stay on the team. then it was with her mom, who was always gone on a work trip of some sort. and her dads focus was mainly on her brother, draining nathan to his best ability so that all he cares about is basketball and being a star.
