Emily and Chuck used to be really close friends as children but Emily had to move away due to her parents getting a new job. She moved back and Chuck and Blair are dating and Blair doesn't allow Chuck and Emily to talk or hang out. She also realises that Chuck has changed but she believes that he's still sweet underneath. She gets along with Serena and Nate. Emily starts to like Chuck but does Chuck like her back.
